Patricia E. Cornish,

Treasurer

Patricia Cornish has over 30 years of leadership experience as a top performing Senior Executive with a strong background and proven expertise in business, management, finance and communications.  She is the Executive Director of ICGFM and is owner and President of PEC Financial Consulting.  She was elected President of Business and Professional Women USA in 2000-2001 and Chair of the BPW Foundation in 2003-2005, spear hearing a major national survey and report entitled, “Workingwomen Speak Out” and a nationwide program WOMENomics.

 

Ms. Cornish served six years as a Commissioner with the Montgomery County Commission for Women, elected as President for two terms, chairing the Legislative Briefing and the Status of Women in Montgomery County Committee producing the 2007 Status of Women Report.  She also served on the Board of Directors of the National Association of Commissions for Women and on the Board of the National Committee on Pay Equity.  She was appointed as a Commissioner to the Maryland Commission for Women in August, 2012, where she served as Chair, Co-Chair, Chair of the Legislation Committee, as Co-Chair of the 2010 and 2011 Maryland Women’s Hall of Fame, and as the chair of the Voices of Maryland Women Listening Tour planning committee (2015 – 2016).

 

She is the recipient of numerous awards, including being named one of the Top 100 Maryland Women in 2006, 2008 and in 2011 entering the Circle of Excellence.
